The Salvation Army is sending 25 tractor-trailer loads of bottled water, totalling 712,800 bottles, to Iowa and Illinois to distribute to disaster victims.
At this time, monetary donations are being accepted to assist with relief efforts. Please contact your local Salvation Army to donate and for inquiries concerning inkind donations.*
The American Red Cross is in need of monetary donations to help support relief efforts in Iowa and Illinois. Donations can be made to any Red Cross chapter.
The Denton chapter of the American Red Cross is unable to accept inkind donations. We appologize for any inconvenience.

A fund to help victims of the 2008 Midwest floods has been established by United Way of America. The funds will be used to support long-term recovery efforts in all of the states devastated by the recent floods.
Seven states have been severly impacted, with thousands evacuated.
United Way of Central Iowa is coordinating volunteers at this time. Anyone living in the affected region is encouraged to register at www.unitedwaydm.org. Volunteers living outside of the midwest region are not being sought at this time.

Checks can be mailed to United Way, c/o One World Communications, 5195 Hamstead Village Way, Suite 135, New Albany, OH 43054.
