Volunteer at United Way of Denton County
Reach out a hand to one and influence the condition of all.
Our volunteers at United Way of Denton County are committed to the community and advancing the common good, creating opportunities for a better life for all.
We have over 500 dedicated volunteers that assist in raising funds for United Way of Denton County. Last year alone, with the help of devoted Denton residents and employees, our campaign volunteers raised over 2 million dollars to support our 26 partner agencies and current community initiatives. In addition, almost 600 volunteers lead the efforts of our Community Investment process. We rely solely on these individuals and their commitment to our community to allocate out funds to our partner agencies.
Volunteers are truly at the heart of everything we do at United Way of Denton County. They lead every aspect of the organization from Board of Directors governance, to financial accountability, to our community investment programs. Additionally, United Way of Denton County volunteers can be seen throughout the community giving both their time and effort to the betterment of all by delivering services through our partner organizations.
Volunteer support is a vital part of the United Way experience, and volunteers of all walks of life are needed to make North Texas a better place to live and work. It’s all a part of the powerful movement we call LIVE UNITED.
