What do you like best about your community? ... I love living in a small town! Everyone truly rallies to support one another 100%. It feels like our family has grown immensely since moving here!

My favorite song to dance to is ... You can't beat a fun song like Footloose, but I love anything I can 2 step to with my husband and all the fun songs my kids love!

When I think about dancing at UNITED Tribute, my biggest fear is... Falling - I don't want to let my sweet Henley down

When I think about dancing at UNITED Tribute, my biggest fear is... I'm not a good dancer so I'm terrified of forgetting the moves!

I LIVE UNITED because... I feel my purpose is to positively impact as many people as possible. The United Way of Denton County provides the community with a variety of opportunities to give back from volunteering for events, to advocating for the cause, or providing financial support. Regardless of the method, United, we can strengthen the needs of our local community. To whom much is given, much is required.

What do you like to do when you're not at work? ... I’m a basketball mom and dance mom. My free time is spent with my girls cheering them on. When I find time just for me, I enjoy reading.

I chose this initiative because ... I’m a military wife and while I am so proud of my husband for serving our country, I know there is much more we need to do to support and serve our veterans.

I LIVE UNITED because ... We can do so much more as a group than as an individual. I am pleased to support UWDC in any way I can so that we all can live in a better Denton County.

What do you like best about your community? ... Family history-- past, present, and future. Though only a 2nd generation Dentonite, my Dad's family moved here when he was 6 months old and he lived the rest of his life here. He was a graduate of Denton High, as well as both my husband and me and our 3 children. Now a resident of Argyle and working in Corinth and the Lake Cities, I have a growing appreciation of even more of Denton County.

My favorite song to dance to is ... Ask me again in May and hopefully I will have one! 

When I think about dancing at UNITED Tribute, my biggest fear is... Hurting one of us and/or looking foolish.

I LIVE UNITED because... An easy regular payroll deduction to UWDC (the backbone of our non-profit community) enables me to regularly support an entire network of non-profits and those they serve across Denton County.

What do you like best about your community? ... I love the history of service and advocacy for all individuals in the Denton Community. Denton County has a strong identity for its contributions to Denton ISD, UNT, and TWU.

When I think about dancing at UNITED Tribute, I'm most excited about... Taking part in such a fun event to support such a great cause. This event is not about the dancing, but a medium to highlight the vital work being done everyday at United Way.

I LIVE UNITED because ...I strive to positively impact a school community by seeking academic and social growth of students and teachers. United Way is deeply rooted in the Denton Community and their support of the well-being of every citizen.

What do you like best about your community? ... I love the small-town feel of Denton, even with a population of over 100,000 people, my husband, family and I typically cannot go somewhere without seeing someone we know. The tight-knit community provides a sense of comfort and support which I thoroughly enjoy.
