Sharon joined the United Way of Denton County team in December 2021 as a Homelessness Prevention Case Manager and is now the Landlord Engagement Manager on our Housing Team. Sharon is a Master Level Social Worker and earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Prairie View A&M University and her Master of Science in Social Work from University of Louisville. Passionate about advocating on behalf of clients to ensure they receive the highest level of care possible, Sharon has over 13 years of experience working with diverse populations. She is skilled in case management and providing therapy in clinical, residential, school and home-based settings. Sharon found a new passion in 2020 working with clients who are experiencing homelessness and believes everyone deserves to be housed.
